Services We Provide
Our Social-Fitness Groups are provided to participants that are 6 years or older. We utilize a variety of curricula aimed at improving social understanding, social language, and social functioning within the context of health and fitness activities. The groups meet for 2 hours, 1-3 times per week and sessions run 3-4 months. Groups will be comprised of participants of similar ages and the curriculum will be tailored to meet the needs of the participants, with an emphasis on age-appropriateness.
The goal of MAPSS is to provide participants with the tools necessary to access social activities in their community with increased independence, self-confidence, safety and enjoyment.
